Welcome to Angelo's Pizzeria Lewiston, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Lewiston, ME. Located at 365 Sabattus St, this establishment has quickly become a favorite for both locals and visitors alike, earning a reputation for its exceptional pizza and welcoming atmosphere.
As I stepped into the cozy dining room, I was greeted by the warm smiles of the staff, a testament to the friendly service that patrons rave about. The ambiance is inviting, though a bit warm during busier hours, making it the perfect place to unwind with family and friends over a delicious meal. That sense of community is palpable; it feels like you're dining at home rather than in a typical restaurant.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the pizza. The crust is a delightful balance—not too thick, not too thin—while the toppings and sauce receive accolades from countless customers. One diner, Alex Rykert, captures it perfectly by calling it his “favorite spot in town for a slice!” His praise for the crispy crust and fresh toppings echoes a common theme among reviews. Additionally, don’t skip the fries; they come highly recommended.
The creativity you’ll find at Angelo's is equally impressive. Ryan Nesbitt highlights the unique garlic bread pizza and suggests asking for their phenomenal dipping sauce on the side. His sentiment that you must experience this place in person truly resonates, especially given the rave reviews about their signature dishes like mashed potato pizza and cheesy garlic bread. The latter, described by Deakan Black, is a must-try appetizer that could easily serve as a meal on its own.
Perhaps what sets Angelo's apart even more is its commitment to customer satisfaction. Many reviewers, including Cynthia Sheeks, emphasize the reasonably priced menu, the excellent pizza, and the dedication of the staff. This combination draws diners back again and again. As Shawn Patrick notes, even during busy times, the food remains consistently good, and patience is rewarded with perfectly cooked pies that are worth the wait.
As I prepared to leave, I couldn't help but marvel at how Angelo's Pizzeria Lewiston transcends being just a meal; it encapsulates a dining experience that blends delectable food with a vibrant sense of community. For anyone seeking that perfect slice, look no further than right here. With attentive service, a diverse menu, and an atmosphere that feels like home, Angelo's is more than just a pizzeria—it's a Lewiston landmark waiting to be discovered.

Always had friendly service and good food. Can take a,while if busy, but if you are in a "rush" to get pizza then maybe not the right time to go. Any pizza we have had has always been cooked perfectly. Dining room is fairly warm only issue.

Favorite spot in town for a slice! Crispy crust, great sauce and toppings. The fries are also a must get too. I will be back here for sure! Need more places like this one. 5 STARS all around.

I asked for a sort of garlic bread pizza and they gave me just that, a large delicious garlic bread with sauce on side, by the way the sauce is phenomenal (ask for the sauce on side to dip) over all this is a truly an absolute must experience that’s savory in every bite and most importantly please dine in don’t take out! Stop by with family to really appreciate how good it really is.

Very good pizza! Tricky to see the entrance. It's in what looks like the back parking lot. Ask for a bag, they won't offer one..

I don’t understand some of the 1 stars. The owners are really kind people. I can’t speak for the entire menu because I haven’t had it all buuuuut their pizza is my all time fav pizza I’ve had in Maine. The deserts are bomb , subs are good, burgers are good, their salads are good. (Yeah they have a lot of options but that’s only just a portion of what their menu consists of that I’ve tried). The atmosphere is usually pretty calm! I always enjoy a restaurant that doesn’t have bright lights & plenty of seating. Not to mention pretty reasonable pricing!!! My go to appetizer has always been the cheesy garlic bread for 4. You get like an entire loaf with marinara & it’s yummy. The only slight inconvenience I’ve ever had is ordering two marinara sides and getting 1. Nothing to fuss over tho, I usually just tell them & it’s not an issue.

This is the best pizza I have found in Lewiston. It is reasonably priced and has a crust that is not too thick or too thin. But what makes this place outstanding is its customer service. I have had a very pleasant experience each time I’ve been. It is what keeps me coming back! Nice job!

The best pizza I have ever had in my life. My favorite is the mashed potato pizza.

I didn't eat in but I did pickup. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pizzas were very good.
